What is burton pride?
Burton Pride is a community interest company (CIC) fully supports the LGBT+ communities of burton.
Our core Belief that under pin everything that we do.
Burton Pride believes that people should have a feeling of belonging and inclusion within the community in which we live.
There are fore concepts that form the foundation of Burton Pride: Accessibility, Differences, Inclusiveness and Sustainability.
Accessibility: The aim is to make Burton Pride an event that is as accessible as possible to everyone by offering quiet areas, facilities, and services that demonstrate the event's inclusivity.
Differences: We will honour Burton's residents' amazing and rich diversity of cultures and identities.
Inclusiveness: Burton Pride is more than just accepting our differences because as we embrace our diversity, we develop a welcoming community for all.
Sustainability: Burton Pride aims to minimise our environmental impact at every event acting in way that lowers our carbon footprint through relancing the use of single-use plastics and improve recycling availability.

Our mission
Is to create a genuine community that will stand up for diversity and Neurodiversity by speaking and confronting discrimination against minority groups and taking an active role in transforming our town and the surrounding area.
To stimulate the town’s economy by leaving a positive experience for the residents and visitors.
To do this we aim to establish a platform for people to be authentic and in doing so able to challenge convention and to foster understanding.
To celebrate the diversity and Neurodiversity within our town and surrounding area.
To encourage social inclusion and self-acceptance within the local community.
To encourage community engagement through family-friendly activities. like community art projects.
